Managing Director – Goscor Hi-Reach
George has been involved with the powered access or MEWP Industry (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) since 1998 when he came into contact with the equipment in Europe during his duties at Johnson Crane Hire as Business Development Director. He founded Johnson Access in the Murray & Roberts Group in 1999 and Hi-Reach as the Genie distributorship in 2005. He holds a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) from UNISA and is involved with various industry bodies such as the Institute for work at height (IWH) and Contractors Plant Hire Association (CPHA), as director and Executive member of both associations. George is an avid reader, golfer but ultimately an industry player.
Chief Executive Officer – Goscor Group
Neil is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He completed his articles at Deloitte & Touche, and then embarked on a career in Asset Management. As Finance and Operations Director of Melville Douglas Investment Management, Neil played a significant role in building this business which was acquired by Standard Bank in 2001. As a Director Neil was given a number of different leadership positions within Standard Bank, being appointed as Director and Head of Private Banking and Wealth in 2006. Neil joined the Goscor Group of Companies in early 2008 to pursue a more entrepreneurial role in this privately owned industrial equipment group. Neil is a passionate golfer, cyclist and family man.
Financial Director – Goscor Hi Reach
Eleanor joined Hi-Reach Manlift, the predecessor of Goscor Hi-Reach in May 2007 as company Bookkeeper and shortly after that as Financial Manager. Her hands on ability soon prompted her to add to her portfolio, the purchasing of machines and spares for the business. In November 2010, she was promoted to Financial Director. Eleanor has a wide range of experience in various industries ranging from manufacturing and motor spares to finance and administration. Eleanor is a keen family woman with two children. Her hobbies include gardening and reading.
N Moodley (Selva)
Parts Director – Goscor Group
Selva joined the Goscor Group of Companies in January 1991 as a Parts Counter Salesman and in 1994, he moved on to create Goscor‚ IT Department. With very little IT knowledge, it was quite a challenge, but Selva persevered and created what is now a fully functional IT department that provides in-house support for a variety of applications looking after the needs of more than 130 users nationally with one Assistant. Selva is a keen DIY person. He also gives his time to assist with the needs of a Computer Class and other requirements at the Sathya Sai School in Lenasia. His hobbies include gardening and watching sport.
